I’m certain a lot of this rant will apply to the internet as a whole, but I’m speaking in specific about the pony fandom, because that’s where a lot of these examples have taken place.

This is all true. Only things I’d add are that this sort of crap has been going on well before MLP: FiM started airing and it’ll continue if we’re not proactive in speaking out against it, and that sex in general, not just bondage, relies heavily on trust, and I for one don’t think you can trust random strangers on the internet with your genitals as easily as some seem to.
I’ll admit, I may joke about sex and such, but this is no joking matter.
